Sonotech manufactures nondestructive ultrasonic couplants and medical ultrasound scanning gels.
Sonotech personnel have been on the forefront of ultrasonic couplant development in the industrial NDT and medical diagnostic ultrasound industries. We are dedicated to ongoing research and development in couplant performance, environmental sensitivity, operator safety and new products. We manufacture the broadest NDT couplant line in the world with over 40 couplants in seven categories. Sonotech NDT couplants have been specified worldwide for over twenty-five years by nuclear and fossil fuel power plants, aerospace, military, petrochemical, metals and resin structure industries. Sonotech pioneered operator and environmentally benign couplants with no VOCs, harsh surfactants, dyes or fragrances. Our ISO 9001 certification represents a strengthening of our long standing commitment to quality products and service.
Our medical scanning gels have acoustic properties that minimize refraction through the skin while optimizing coupling. Our formulations contain no dyes, fragrance or surfactants that can be absorbed by the transducer lense or sensitize and dry sonographer's hands.
Sonotech's quality system is registered to both ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485:2003 quality management system standards and is compliant with the FDA's Quality System Regulations for Medical Devices (21CFR Part 820).

Our NDT couplants and medical scanning gels are manufactured and inventoried in Bellingham, Washington; more than 95% of all products are shipped within 24 hours of receipt of order.
